The Intuitive Warrior is a snack that I designed for myself and the energies I wanted to be in harmony with. I like to evoke warrior energy because I have always thought of myself as one. 🙂 When I think of a warrior I think of someone who is an artful balance of masculine and feminine energies, strong, resilient, passionate, and loyal. Someone who stands up for what they believe in or value, a demand or integrity that exudes authenticity. I may not be all those things all the time, but it is ALWAYS the goal.
I’ve also created a practice of listening to my body, so I am constantly receiving information on what my body needs. I encourage everyone to listen to their own body because I each of us has very particular needs. I believe my body is the most intelligent aspect of myself and I have honed in on great wisdom because of it.
I truly believe in the power of healing with food. This snack is super easy, has a good amount of protein, gives you a boost of energy and also helps loosen some energy and provides flow in the belly. Overall, it is pretty balanced in all nutrients.
- 2 TBSP of raw almonds
- 2 TBSP of organic blueberries
- 2 TBSP of PB2
- 2-3 TSP of chicory root
- 1/4 cashew milk
- 1/4 TSP of nutmeg
My special “go to add ons:”
For almonds and blueberries I would actually measure out the tablespoons. I measured things for years so I know that 20 almonds is around 2 TBSP. I used to measure everything because I realized I was eating more than my body needed so it really helped me with portion control. I put the nuts and berries in a bowl the night before with a piece of lapis lazuli to strengthen their natural energetic properties. Whenever I prepare food, I am grounded and try to meditate on love. I keep mindful that I am preparing something for myself and that I deserve my full attention.
Aztec Warrior drink: you can make this cold or hot. I specifically made this drink for the the summer time, but this drink is delish hot as well.
Cold – Brew chicory like a tea, use about a 1/2-3/4 hot water. Set aside to brew for 5 minutes. Take another glass, add PB2 and pour cashew milk. Whisk together. Add brewed chicory. Whisk. Add some clean filtered water and ice. Sprinkle to your hearts content the nutmeg, cinnamon and cayenne.
Hot – I would do the same as above but steam/froth the cashew milk.

Why these foods:
Blueberries – Are a good source of fiber, antioxidants, Vit C, Vit K, magnese, and more… They also activate the Throat and 3rd Eye chakras: which align with speaking your truth, and listening to your inner wisdom
Almonds – High in good healthy fat, amazing for cardiovascular health, helps build strong bones and teeth and yes more… They also activate the Root and Sacral chakras: grounding, helps “digest” emotions, and good for emotional clarity
Chicory – Prebiotic good or gut lora, helps reduce arthritis pain, detox the liver and gallbladder and so much more! I believe chicory activates the Sacral and Solar Plexus by moving stagnant energy in both parts of the body.
Cashew Milk – cashews help with depression, good for heart health, high in good fats, good for gall bladder, and so much more! I believe cashews activate the Sacral and Solar plexus, working to move energy and balance emotional energies, empowering one the confidence in speaking their truth
Nutmeg – helps with anxiety, aids digestion, strong antibacterial properties
Cayenne – Metabolism booster, powerful energy booster, aids in burning fat
Cinnamon – helps stabilize sugar
